La Costa

Carlsbad's La Costa neighborhood centers on the La Costa Resort and Spa.  Built in the 60s, the recently renovated resort hosts both a major golf and a major tennis competition each year.  There are two championship golf courses and 21 tennis courts located on the 400 acres of the resort.  A full service salon and spa offer other amenities to guests. Homes surround the resort and many feature ocean views as well as views of the golf courses. 

The recently built Four Seasons Resort Aviara offers visitors an Arnold Palmer-designed golf course and an extensive spa. Extensively landscaped the hotel offers Four Season's legendary service in a casual setting.  This resort is also surrounded by homes and condominiums.
